ANCESTRAL 1847 ROGERS ART DECO c. 1924 SALT & PEPPER SHAKER 6 SET?? The Art Deco style that came to the fore following the 1925 Paris. Characterized by precise and boldly delineated geometric shapes often drew on neoclassical motifs without expressing them overtly, fashioning a strong aesthetic relationship between embellishment often utilized in both styles. A perfect example is the 1847. Offered this time in its SALT & PEPPER SHAKER 6 ½ SET a very well taken care of vintage estate set in excellent condition, showing at the most a subtle dimple on one shaker. Other than that the overall quality plate is excellent NO loss, NO wear, NO monogram with an aged patina enhancing its details, both lids fit in an out easily, equally stamped.
