Silver Plate Rogers

Eternally Yours 1847 Rogers Bros Silverware Set in Original Box. This beautiful set of silver plate could be yours! It is not a complete set, and has some very nice serving pieces, many forks and spoons, especially teaspoons! The dinner knives are silver plate handles with stainless steel blades. The rest of the pieces look to be entirely silver plate. There are a total of 54 pieces. Please see the photos for the layouts of the whole set. All pieces are in nice condition, and quite clean. There are larger marks on a couple of the serving spoons, which you can see in the photographs. I tried to clean these off, not very aggressively, and could not get them off. Otherwise, there are normal age marks on the pieces overall. But, not very many. I put a few in the photos for you to look at. I did wipe down the entire set with a damp cloth, just to clean the fingerprints and dust off. Two of the soup spoons are a bit tarnished, and if I can find my silver cloth, I will clean these before I send them to you. I also took a light furniture oil and went over the wooden box to restore the luster and minimize some of the basic wear marks. This will be a rather large, heavy box.
