1893 VICTORIAN FISH SERVING SET? 1893 design has been rather aptly described as “exuberant Art Nouveau with a Victorian intricacy in detail among rococo flourishes and shells, gleaming fish-like scales and swoops, ” Intending to convey the fanciful suggestion of a whimsical, romanticized sea serpent cresting above the waves. A pattern offered this time in its FISH SERVING SET. FORK 9 1/8″ and KNIFE 11 3/8″, an antique estate set in a remarkable very good condition showing just minor signs of use no plate loss, monogram, stamped. 1847 ROGERS BROS A-1.
