Silver Plate Rogers

Beautiful silver plate 3-light candelabra pair in 1847 Rogers Bros. The top 3-light arms can be removed and the bases used as single candlesticks. Each one is appx 15″ wide x 4″ deep x 18 tall. The base is 5-3/4 across. Bottom single candlestick is 11-1/4 tall. I could not find any damage, dents, or evidence of repairs. Very faint scratches, appropriate to age and use. The cups are clean and free of wax. Marked Heritage 1847 Rogers Bros. IS 9416 on the bottom of each. If you want the whole story behind them: I’ve loved these candlesticks my entire life. My mom would never let me touch them, which is why they are in such fantastic condition. They sat on the big table, in the fancy dining room, where we ate only at holidays and when family was visiting. When they sparkle and reflect the candlelight on the table, they are one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. I dreamed about the day my own children would sit in a fancy dining room, illuminated by these candlesticks. My home is very small and very simple. These beautiful candelabra deserve a more elegant setting, to be used and admired by a new family, to inspire dreams for someone else. Offered is a lovely antique 1923 Art Deco period twelve place setting with serving spoons. The set was first produced by W. This 58 piece set is in amazing condition for its age. It has scratches that one would expect with anything this old, but there are only two items with issues worth noting. A salad fork has some bubbling on its surface and a dessert spoon has a small pitting spot. Photos of both are included. Other than that its is great. We are offering for your consideration this wonderful set of 1847 ROGERS BROS. SILVER PLATE FLATWARE in a WOOD STORAGE CASE. The pattern is FIRST LOVE. This is a service for 12 with extra serving pieces and a child’s fork and spoon. It comes in a handy anti-tarnish storage case… There are some scuffs and scrapes on the box but it still serves well to organize and protect the pieces! There are 78 pieces in the set as follows. 1 MASTER BUTTER KNIFE. 1 CHILD’S FORK. 1 CHILD’S SPOON. 3 SOLID SERVING SPOONS. There is some light oxidation… Mostly in the crevasses.
