Antique Wm Rogers, Hamilton, Ontario #1047 Silver Plate Tea Pot & Coffee Pot Pair. These elegant and stylish silver-plated tea pot and coffee pot are made by William Rogers. Both pieces are footed and have hinged lids and handsome black handles. Both pieces are beautifully embellished with an embossed and finely detailed grape leaf and grape cluster motif. The base of each piece is imprinted with the William Rogers Eagle & Star stamp that reads, Wm Rogers Hamilton, Ont 1047 – 42. The eagle and star mark was the individual mark William Rogers used on silver-plated hollowware from 1938 to 1976. They are in very good used condition. Could use a thorough polishing but the s. Urfaces are shiny and bright. Minimal surface marks consistent with age and use. No sign of plate wear. No cracks, chips, scratches, or monograms. The tea pot has a dimple on the top of one side and the coffee pot has a dent on the top of one side. Each pot has a mark on the finials where the lids meet the handles when opened. We are including the matching creamer at no additional charge. The creamer measures approximately 3 1/4 in height (including handle) by 5 in width (handle to spout). 6 inches tall bottom to top of finial. 10 inches across from handle to spout. 6 inches across at widest part of body. 3 5/8 inch opening. 7 ½ inches tall bottom to top of finial. 10 ¼ inches across from handle to spout. 5 ½ inches across at widest part of body.
