For sale is this 65-piece Rogers 1881 Silver Plate set by Oneida. It is service for 8, with a variety of other pieces. This set was given to my family a decade ago as a gift, and while we’ve cherished it in our home, we’ve never had an occasion to formally use it ourself. It appears to not have been used before. I don’t know that for certain, but it does reflect how good it looks visually. Having recently moved to a smaller home, we’re looking to get it to a new owner who might appreciate it also. Visually the pieces appear shiny and tarnish free, impeccably clean. The photos are the best description. I will describe the pieces here in order as I see them, and encourage you to see photos. Please forgive my generic descriptions for some pieces, I do not know the formal terms on all these pieces. 8 Dessert Spoons (identical appearing to previous, may just be 16 total teaspoons, to use as you’d like). 2 Misc pieces (appearing to be: large serving fork and flat piece). 2 Larger Serving Spoons. 1 Patterned Serving Piece. 1 Large Serving piece. 1 Smaller Misc Spoon. It comes with a few misc, small Oneida papers relating to the set for your curiosity. It comes secured in a wooden flatware storage box, with green colored velvet-like interior. The pieces sit well in the box and stay in place for moving it around under normal conditions. The box itself is sturdy, and in “good” condition. It is not explicitly dirty, dented or scratched; but does show some light scuffs and wear on the top.
