Silver Plate Rogers

Just one of inkFrog’s. From a recent estate sale is a lot of 54 pieces in the 1847 Rogers Bros silverplate pattern Eternally Yours. The forks and knives in the set are the grille length – the forks are 7 5/8″ long and the knives are about 8 1/2″ long. There is also a small carving set – the pieces do not have guards and the fork is about 9 1/4″ while the knife is 10 3/8″. Altogether the lot includes: 14 teaspoons, 8 salad forks, 8 grille forks, 3 soup spoons, 8 grille knives, 6 seafood cocktail forks, 1 ladle, 1 solid serving spoon, 1 tomato server, 1 master butter knife, 1 sugar spoon, and the 2 piece carving set. The carving knife has some heavy scratching on the blade. The remainder of the pieces have normal fine surface scratching from use and storage. The pieces could also use a little polishing. Unless otherwise specified my items are preowned and vintage – they are not new. I will describe any damage or problems aside from what would be considered normal wear – but you should expect some wear on them.
