This is for a beautiful vintage 1847 Rogers Bros. Silver-plated waiter serving tray in the elegant Heritage pattern, #9490. Overall Dimensions: 1″ H × 25″ W × 14 D. Interior Serving Surface: 16½” W × 11½” D. The Heritage pattern is admired for its timeless elegance and beautifully detailed border, allowing it to complement Victorian, Traditional, French Country, Hollywood Regency, and Transitional décor. This tray is in good vintage condition with a bright silver-plated finish. There are age-appropriate surface scratches to the center serving area from years of careful use, as shown in the photographs. These signs of age are consistent with a vintage serving tray and do not detract from its beautiful presentation. Antique 1880′s Victorian era silver-plated loving cup by Rogers & Brother. This piece is rare and features the highly sought-after “Assyrian Head” motif- a classical ornate Roman-style helmeted centurion profile adorning the sides of the cup & also at the handles, handle also has a leaf design on top of the head. The same warrior profile is also featured in the makers hallmark on the base, (hard to see). 1969 engraved in bottom middle is most likely a presentation date or an engraved date from an event or club. Shows wear from a over a century of age, includes visible surface scratches, scuffs and small marks. Heavy tarnish is present with patina. Has not been polished. There’s areas of “bleeding” (wear to the silver plate) where the base metal is visible, typical for pieces this vintage. No major dents observed. 4½” tall and 3½” wide at the base, with 2 handles and weighing about 11.5 oz. Please review all photos, thanks for looking.

Set of antique cranberry glass shakers and a salt cellar on a Rogers & Bro. The shakers date to the same time period and have pewter two-piece tops, a cylinder shape with a small shoulder. They stand about 3 1/2 each. One has a thumbprint pattern (outside) while the other has an inverted thumbprint (IVT). The salt cellar is a small oval shape and appears to be ruby glass. The stand is stamped with the Rogers & Bro. Makers’ mark and “Triple Plate” plus 3832. The stand has a simple round handle and beautiful metal work on the three compartments for the glass inserts. It also sits on three very small swans as feet, which is a great touch. Was formed in Waterbury, CT in 1858 by Asa Jr. It became part of the International Silver Company in 1898.
