Circa 1924, so nearly 100 years old. Condition: Some light surface scuffing from storage and light utensil markings from use I took photos of each close up on top centers areas. The one that had sat on top of stack all these years had some tiny pinpoint/pinhead size plate loss speckles on top. A couple others have one or two pinpoint specks. An advertisement from October 1926 in Ladies Home Journal described them as: “A regal and stately pattern with lithe and slender lines, encased with a design of lace-like delicacy”. They were wiped down with a damp cloth and they started to shine up immediately. There are still tarnish marks that need cleaning. At least 1 plate has some very minor pitting that just may clean off with a good metal polish. Each plate has been photographed for your inspection. Fully insured with electronic tracking included. A set of 8 mid twentieth century 6 Sterling silver Lord Saybrook bread plates made ca 1959 by Rogers Silver Co. Pattern number is 0400. They are in very good previously owned/used condition with normal signs of use. They weigh 725 grams. I do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as “gifts” – US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior. Please don’t ask.
