This measures 12 inches tall with a handle in the upright position and it is 10 inches across at the widest. This measures 5 3/4 inches tall from the table to the top edge of the bowl part. This is an excellent condition no damage aware to the silver plate and it features the geometric and cut shamrock design on the inside of the fruit bowl.

We are pleased to offer a beautiful and rare silverplated folding fruit knife in Arcadian from 1847 Rogers Bros. The design is an ornate multi motif figural motif that was introduced in 1884. This handle has a lady figure cutting a piece of fruit. The back of the handle is embossed with flowers and leaves. It’s a beautiful example of the genre and is a rare piece. Up for sale today is a very rare and hard to find Rogers Bros 1847 Marquise silver-plate “flower center or fruit bowl”. It is number 009150. This would sit in the center of the table and you could put water in the bottom and the center insert in and arrange flowers in it or remove the center piece and use it as a fruit bowl. It has some silver-plate loss in the center from flower stems and water over the years. No dings or dents. Overall very nice rare piece. I cleaned this quickly with some Tarn-X for the photo. It needs to be thoroughly cleaned of tarnish in all the cracks and crevices. This measures approximately 14″ across and 4.5″ tall. Please look at all the photos as they are part of the description. Just one of inkFrog’s. From a recent estate sale is a set of 6 hollow handle fruit knives in the 1847 Rogers Bros Vintage silverplate pattern. The knives measure about 6 5/8 long and come in their original fabric lined box. The knives have been well cared for and have fine surface scratching from use and storage. The fabric lining the box has some soiling and staining and the box itself has shelf wear including split corners, paper peeling, and soiling. Unless otherwise specified my items are preowned and vintage – they are not new. I will describe any damage or problems aside from what would be considered normal wear – but you should expect some wear on them.
