Set includes the following: 12 salad forks, 12 dinner forks, 17 teaspoons, 6 oval soup spoons, 12 knives, 8 tablespoons (serving spoons – 6 are great, 2 are pitted), 1 sugar spoon, 1 butter knife, 1 solid gravy ladle, 1 medium solid cold meat serving fork, 1 solid smooth casserole spoon. Referencing the knives, 6 of the knives have the engraving at the base of the blade and 6 of the knives have it in the middle of the blade (see pictures). Two of the tablespoons are pitted from use and six are fine. I have cleaned the silverware to remove the tarnish. This silverware was given to me by my grandmother.

This is a wonderful older set of plated flatware made by Wm Rogers and Sons. Rogers is infamous for its history in the silver plate industry. The pattern is called La France, and dates back to 1920. Each piece is clearly marked on the under side with the name and date. The box is an original Wm Rogers and Sons also, and it presents in remarkable condition. There are 51 pieces to this set, all of which show some some wear with scratches from use. Otherwise, they look great, free of flaws or defects, and polished to a nice shine. The 51 pieces break down as follows: 12 dinner knives, 12 dinner forks, 12 soup spoons, 12 teaspoons, 6 serving spoons, 1 meat fork, 1 sugar spoon, 1 butter knife. As for the box, it is great looking in dark wood and measures 15 and a 1/2 in by 11 and a 1/4 in. There is a cursive F engraved on most of the pieces which fits right in with the lightly patterned design. ROGERS 3 Footed Ornate Silver Plated Round Serving Tray. Raised ornate floral edging. This tray weighs 3 lbs. 14 ¼ in diameter. A very elegant and radiant serving tray. There are some soft scratches in the center which are hardly noticeable. There are no dents, bumps, dings or loss of silver plate. Vintage from the 1970s. French Silver Plate Tea Pot by Christofle, Paris in the Colbert Pattern #347. Measures 7 ¾ tall with lid and 6 ¼ without. 3 ½ in Diameter at the rim. There are some marks on the bottom.
