This is a great ca 1938 Silverplate flatware set in the wm Rogers Devonshire pattern. The set consists of 8 knives 6 dinner forks, 6 salad forks, 12 teaspoons, 7 large spoons, 2 serving spoons and 1 soup spoon. The set is in nice vintage condition with some age related wear and scratches. The one soup spoon was added to the collection because it was found in another set and matched the pattern. I’m not sure if the box is original, but it works nicely with the set. The set includes the original guarantee certificate from the Wm Rogers company. This Lovely set appears to be a combined set. I tried to show in the pictures by grouping together the ones that are in Very Good to Excellent Condition, and the ones that look slightly more used. None of them are in poor condition. There are a total of 95 pieces, plus the box. The box is in kind of rough condition, as you can see in the pictures, but it is solid and everything fits in it. The pieces are as follows. 21 Oval Soup Spoons. 8 Butter Knives (individual place). 2 Master Butter Knives. 2 Large Serving Spoons. 1 Regular Serving Spoon. 1 Serving – Cold Meat Fork. This is an excellent set and it would be perfect for someone that likes to entertain. You will not find such a full and complete set of antique flatware!
