THE SILVERWARE IS BRIGHT AND IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH THE FOLLOWING EXCEPTIONS: OF THE 13 TEAPSOONS FOUR HAVE BALD SPOTS AT HEEL REST AND 5 HAVE JUST A DOT OF LOSS AT HEEL. OF THE 12 FRUIT/ORANGE SPOONS SIX OF THEM HAVE BALD SPOTS OR JUST A DOT SPOT. TWO OR THREE OF THESE I WOULD PROBABLY NOT USE ON MY TABLE. HOWEVER, THE PATTERN IS DESIRABLE AND SCARCE AND THESE PIECES COULD BE DIPPED OR RE-PLATED TO RESTORE. THE KNIFE BLADES ARE VERY USEABLE BUT HAVE SOME SPOTTING – NOT SURE HOW TO DESCRIBE. IT IS NOT LOSS OF SILVER BUT MAYBE JUST GENTLY AGED. THERE MAY BE A TEENY SPOT OR TWO THAT I MISSED BUT OVERALL VERY NICE. PLEASE EXPECT FINE SURFACE SCRATCHING CONSISTENT WITH AGE AND NORMAL USEAGE.
