A perfect example of the above is the piece offer for your consideration this time the TABLE WATER PITCHER 10 ½ 48 FL OZ, a well-built 3lbs piece with a thick smooth to the touch quality plate, hand chased grapevine theme enhancing its bulbous body on both sides and working as cartouche, metal cast figurine details on top its rim and around its pedestal base, besides a minor cosmetic detail on inner handle top this comes to be an antique estate piece in an excellent condition, NO plate loss, NO mono, clean interior, stamped. Meriden Britannia/1847 Rogers VINTAGE Chased Grape Samovar/Coffee Urn! SUPERB 1847 Rogers Vintage Chased Grape Design Large Samovar/Coffee Urn! Gorgeous Chased & Repousse Grapes, applied Grapevine accents to match your Vintage pattern flatware. Made by Meriden Britannia, established in 1879 for production of 1847 Rogers flatware and holloware. Amazing condition, well preserved over the years. Brilliant mirror finish and beautiful crisp pattern! Hardly any scratches, no areas of plate loss and free of dents and dings. A little darkening on the underside from the burner flame. Script monogram above the spigot the bakelite handle on the spigot has a stable hairline crack on the back. (can be seen in the reflection below monogram in photo #4) Also, the burner is not original and slightly too large to fit in the ring holder. Freshly polished and ready for use! This lovely Urn can be used for coffee. Tea or hot water. It is a massive piece, measuring 16 1/2″ tall at the top of the lid, 10 1/2″ ” from handle to handle and about 9 1/2″ wide from back to spigot. M arked on the bottom “MBC 002076″ and various trademarks for Meriden Britannia Company. This incredible Samovar/Urn would be a spectacular addition to compliment your Vintage flatware set! Large vintage silver plated tea & coffee service by F. Comprising tray, teapot, coffee pot, tilting pot with stand and burner, sugar bowl and lid, creamer and waste pot. 29.5 from handle to handle. Total weight of the set is almost 20 lbs. Condition: The 3 pots have what appear to be vertical stress cracks which can be seen on close inspection but they held water without leaking when I filled them. Plating in good shape, no bare areas. I replaced one of the hinges with a section of thick wire and polished the set briefly before the time of listing. I want my buyers to be fully satisfied and I try to be fair and accurate with my descriptions.
