Silver plate coffeepot in the Charter Oak pattern. It has a whimsical decoration of acorns for the final and base adornments plus heavy deep relief oak leaves and twigs. The pot measures approximately 9 1/4 tall and 4 1/2 across the bottom. This piece weighs approximately 2 pounds. It is marked on the bottom made And Guaranteed By Meriden Company, Rogers Bros. 2079 T and U. This piece is in great condition for its age and it has been hand polished for your immediate use. There are no monograms or evidence of removal. It has seen use with some wear to the plating on many of the high spots, bottom and where your thumb sits when pouring. There are no dents or bends and the plating has good luster. It does have use marks and scratches. The interior also has some beverage staining.
