YORK WM ROGERS c. 1900 VICTORIAN ROCOCO SERVING PIECES SET? 1900 based on the original 18th-century Rococo style. One of the Victorian era’s most popular revival styles. It features carved-like decoration, “C” shape scrolls outlined a scallop shell form on top of the handles working as the main focus pattern detail, the handle is framed with acanthus, and little balls notching it all along. A pattern offered this time in a 6pC SERVING SET, a fine looking antique quality estate set in excellent condition, smooth to the touch clean lustrous pieces with a priceless aged patina enhancing its details, clear mirror-finish plated blade without nicks looking hardly used if ever bearing the old stamp. Rare Wm Rogers silver plate 6 piece tea set comprising of tray, cake stand, tea pot, coffee/ water pot, sugar bowl and creamer. “Old English Reproduction #6185″ vine design c1940s. Good condition for age, however please note loss of silver on the cake stand, inside the coffee pot, under the handle of the tea pot and slight misshapen rims on the sugar bowl and creamer (please see photos). Handles measures 55.5 cm. Cake stand 24.5 cm diameter. Coffee/ water pot 20.5 cm tall. Teapot 16.5 cm tall. Complete set weighs 4.4 kg (9lb 12oz) approx. Coffee pot , #9401 10.5 tall, 10.25 spout to handle. Tea pot , #9402 8 tall, 10 spout to handle (hinge needs to be re-soldered at attachment). Sugar , #9403 6 tall, 6.25 across handles. Creamer , #9404 6 tall, 5 spout to handle. Tray , #9493 33 long, 20 wide, 1.75 tall at handles. Tray wt- 15 lbs. Total weight of five pieces 24 lbs.
