1950 MIDCENTURY DAFFODIL1847 ROGERS MERIIDEN B CO. CHASED ORNATE SERVING TRAY. Meriden Britannia Co Ltd, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada (founded 1879) was a subsidiary of Meriden Britannia Company of Meriden, Connecticut. It produced 1847 Rogers Bros silverplate, sterling silver flatware, silverplated nickel silver and white metal hollowware. In 1924 International Silver Company incorporated International Silver Company of Canada, Ltd with its Canadian subsidiaries Meriden Britannia Co Ltd (Hamilton, Ontario), Standard Silver Co of Toronto Ltd (Toronto, Ontario) and William Rogers Manufacturing Company Ltd (Niagara Falls, Ontario). ROGERS Gilded Silverplate Chased PUNCH BOWL SET – 10 CUPS & LADLE. Gorgeous vintage gilded silverplate punch bowl set made by Wm. The set include large pedestal bowl with with chased floral and foliage cartouches, 10 cups with scroll handles and the ladle. The ladle is not original to set, it is Sheffield, made in England. Measurement: The bowl is 12″ in diameter and 6″ high, the cup is 3 7/8″ in diemeter, the ladle is 11.5″ long. Condition: Overall very nice condition, with some light gild wear on bowl! Inside the bowl some normal scratches from using. We will try to be as accurate as possible with our description, but maybe we miss some details. Thanks for stopping by. Superb Antique Rogers 1881 Silver plated teaset, This one has heavy repousse hand chased floral decor and the teapot has a fruit/ berry finial. The sugar bowl and jug still have a slight golden hue from the gilt lining. All pieces are marked as shown to the undersides and are generally in good condition, there are a few marks to the interiors of the pieces which may clean out and there are some fine scratches to the insides. There is a split to the metal at the base of the handle which has made it slightly loose (last image). Our Items are from various estate liquidations and are located at multiple locations.
