Rogers Heraldic Silverware Flatware Utensil Set 1916 Hammered Arts & Crafts monogrammed S (except for 2 Forks at bottom) For your consideration are a beautiful lot of (64 + 6 damaged knives) antique silverplated flatware designed in and during the hammered Arts and Crafts period. All the utensils are in excellent condition with the exception of the knives where one is acceptable, possibly two but with the other six, the blades are damaged. Many of the utensils show some tarnish and can use polishing. 8 Knives Hollow Handle-(6 of the knives have damaged blades but are included in the lot-2 are fair to good). 7 Orange / Fruit Spoons. 6 Round Bouillon / bullion / Soup spoons. 6 Coffee Spoons / Demitasse. 5 Ice Tea Spoons (long neck). 6 Hors d’oeuvre / Oyster / Olive Forks / Pickle. 1 Master Butter Knife. 2 Forks-7.5 inches-No Monogram. THERE ARE 103 PIECES AND IT IS QUITE RARE TO SEE SO MANY PIECES TOGETHER. THE SILVERWARE IS BRIGHT AND IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH THE FOLLOWING EXCEPTIONS: OF THE 13 TEAPSOONS FOUR HAVE BALD SPOTS AT HEEL REST AND 5 HAVE JUST A DOT OF LOSS AT HEEL. OF THE 12 FRUIT/ORANGE SPOONS SIX OF THEM HAVE BALD SPOTS OR JUST A DOT SPOT. TWO OR THREE OF THESE I WOULD PROBABLY NOT USE ON MY TABLE. HOWEVER, THE PATTERN IS DESIRABLE AND SCARCE AND THESE PIECES COULD BE DIPPED OR RE-PLATED TO RESTORE. THE KNIFE BLADES ARE VERY USEABLE BUT HAVE SOME SPOTTING – NOT SURE HOW TO DESCRIBE. IT IS NOT LOSS OF SILVER BUT MAYBE JUST GENTLY AGED. THERE MAY BE A TEENY SPOT OR TWO THAT I MISSED BUT OVERALL VERY NICE. PLEASE EXPECT FINE SURFACE SCRATCHING CONSISTENT WITH AGE AND NORMAL USEAGE.
