Magic Rose pattern was introduced in 1963 and discontinued in 1969. Back is marked 1847 Rogers Bros. IS”, dinner forks are also marked “Magic Rose, knives are not marked. All pieces have been hand-polished and are in very good estate condition, showing normal signs of gentle use and a high shine. Pie and tomato server look like they have been used more extensively with heavier scratches in bowl. Casserole spoon has two spots of rubbing in bowl. No dents or plate loss, and no monogram. Pattern is crisp and well defined. 1 casserole spoon – 1 serving fork – 2 serving spoons (1 pierced) – 1 gravy ladle. 1 tomato server – 1 pie server – 1 master butter knife – 1 sugar spoon. Chest is in very good condition as well, inside is nice and clean, no stains or musty smell. It measures 16 3/8″ x 11″ x 5½ and weighs 12.5 lbs (with silverware). Do not wait until the last day! EXCELLENT – New or like new condition. Few if any surface marks. VERY GOOD – The best you can expect from any used item, light surface marks and a high luster. GOOD – signs of use or age, nothing too obvious. Shows surface marks, some luster. FAIR – Noticeable wear, flaws or damage as described, very little luster.
